Do unto others as you would have done unto you. That's the golden rule we're told to live by. In this book, I learned doing unto others can be more than a standard of living. Learning to connect with someone else's dreams or desires can become one of the best ways to help you, help yourself. People are made up of many things, most notably their wants. When you can identify those, then you're really in business.
Working as an entrepreneur is no easy feat. In fact, this book lets you know that not everyone has what it takes to become one. It discusses the ups, downs, highs and lows of what the journey to become a CEO can look like. If your just starting out in business, or looking to shift your mindset about business this book is definitely worth the read.

Viola Davis is adored by so many people, I among them, and this book discusses her journey to such adoration. It's filled with love, pain, joy, ups, downs, and is a beautiful depiction of what it can take to find yourself. Highly recommend, but be prepared to shed a tear or two.

This book has given me some of the best tools to navigate conflict in my marriage and create a future with my partner that is long-lasting and full of love. Whether you're newlyweds or those who have been around the block a few times, this book is a great lesson in the power of partnership.
As a black woman, feeling seen, heard, and understood can feel almost impossible. This can be exacerbated by the trials and tribulations life can bring. This book combated that feeling by helping me understand that you can learn from every life experience --even the ones that seem the hardest.
